LAO Magazine

LAO 陶 is an editorial project that explores the materialities behind art, design and everyday objects. The magazine combines visual storytelling, interviews and reflective writing to highlight craftsmanship, manual processes and the human stories connected to materials. The project includes the development of the magazine's identity, editorial structure, visual language and printed format.

The goal of LAO 陶 was to create a niche, collectible magazine that encourages a more conscious relationship with objects and materialities in a highly automated world. The final result is a cohesive editorial proposal with a clear voice and strong values, offering thoughtful content, high-quality design and a publication meant to be kept, revisited and valued as an object itself.
